Review

Formed in Solingen, Germany in the early 70s by wild and crazy frontman, Udo Dirkschneider, Accept forged their way to the top of the 80s metal ranks with their brutal and heavy riffs and Udo's trademark screeching banshee styled vocal trait. Distinctly original and instantly recognizable, Accept conquered seemingly the entire planet outside the USA. With such classic albums as Restless And Wild, Breaker, I'm A Rebel and Accept finally seeing mid-price status, those Stateside best be keeping their ears open and their balls to the wall!

Udo Dirkschneider: "What every musician dreams turned into a reality for us, now that we had a record deal. When listening closely to this album, you can already hear the Accept sound. Without a doubt this album brought notice to the German rock scene. Naturally it was very exciting for us the first time we entered a recording studio but also disappointing at the same time. Of course, we expected that song we recorded would be the same as the song we had written. I remember that it was a fight for us to push our ideas into the foreground. I believe that they wanted to make a pop band out of us, but at the end, we got our way."

All of the Accept Super Value Re-Release series feature booklets with new liner notes, historical reminiscents and comments by Udo Dirkschneider, never before seen photos and memorabilia. And all at a cool price!Accept's re-issue album was originally released in 1979, on Razor Records it features 10 tracks including 'Lady You' & 'Tired Of Me'. 2005.Udo Dirkschneider: "What Every Musician Dreams Turned Into a Reality for Us, Now that We Had a Record Deal.
