Review

WUZ came about when Yves Saint Laurent commissioned 3 tracks from Alex for their catwalk shows in 2001. Alex wrote 10 tracks and got labelmate Demon on the case for a harder, clubbier sound than Alex's usual output. The resulting LP is one of the best dance albums to come out of France (indeed the world) for some time. Not necessarily immediate, not obvious, no podium fillers, but these tracks seep into your conscious and please all the senses. Includes the first single 'Use Me'. 2002.
