Admirers of Dar Williams, Jonatha Brooke, Indigo Girls and intelligently emotional, intricately harmonized folk-pop in general will find much to praise in "Blame Sally", the self-titled, self-released first studio recording by an all-female Bay Area quartet that became a KFOG favorite on the strength of a live album. Blame Sally has four strong singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists in Pam Delgado, Jeri Jones, Renee Harcourt and Monica Pasqual, and while their individual voices are appealing, their harmonies are addictively creamy.
