Review

Cruise Control is D-Lucca's second full length Album. It is 15 songs and 75 minutes of Contemporay Jazz, Rock, and Electronica blended into cool thought provoking smooth funky music. With D-Lucca's Piccolo Bass in the lead, he brings together the sounds of Terry Disley's Keys (Acoustic Alchemy, Brian Ferry), Steve Moretti's Drums(Rosemary Clooney, Tony Tennile), Lorn Leber's Guitar (The Jerry Garcia Band), Daniel Zinn and Joshi Marshall's Sax (Professor of Jazz studies at Cal State University Hayward, Mingus a Mungus), and Joe Hebert's Cello (California Symphony Orchestra) and combines them with elegent compostions to create a heart filled album of passion and love. With some of his closest friends and family performing on this project, D-Lucca has created one of the most timeless records of 2006 that should be part of every household CD collection.
