Dave Dudley, the King of Truck Driving Tunes, brings his rough-hewn, must-be-movin'-on approach to this set of Christmas songs. Christmas Truck Stop has the same feel that made “Six Days on the Road” a classic. The project sports a mix of traditional and original music that includes the song “Six Tons of Toys.”

This is the original version of the tune that was released in 1999 by country music's Paul Brandt. All in all, Christmas Truck Stop brings together the familiar themes of country music with those of an American Christmas and then slams the hammer down. A high octane, diesel-driven must-have for the long-hauler in all of us.
