Born in Teboulba, Tunesia in 1967, Composer, Singer and Oud Player Dhafer Youssef Began Singing in the Islamic Tradition at the Age of 5. Learning by Listening and Instinct, Rather Than Formal Training, Dhafer Has Absorbed the Feeling of Sufi Whilst Creating a Contemporary, Individual Sound.
