on this album don conoscenti takes a step up as a lyricist. the feature cut is the title song which is based on a true event. don accompanies himself on 6 string acoustic guitar. the album was recorded by glenn matullo (shawn mullins)in atlanta georgia. it was done in forty-five minutes. no overdubs, no second takes. a romantic collection of songs with an eye on love come and gone. the guitar sound on this recording is large and wonderful. the last song "smith road" is unlisted on the disc itself. it was written and added at the last minute.
