Like Johnny Cash before him and Neil Diamond afterwards, Rubin strips away the gloss and presents Donovan at his acoustic best. 14 tracks that recall Donovan's folky beginnings including 'Please Don't Bend', 'Everlasting Sea' and 'Lady Of The Lamp'.
