The Fabulous Lorraine Garland (formerly of the Flash Girls) returns with her new band Folk Underground for a CD full of twisted traditional fare and spooky originals. Songs by Neil Gaiman, Jane Yolen, Stephen Merrit, and, of course, the band themselves cover subjects everyone can relate to in their everyday life: break-ups, drinking, death, corpses rising from their graves to walk the...ok, maybe not everyone can relate. But those that can will be well rewarded by this eclectic collection of underground folk music.
