Review

"Neurotic Showering Habits" delivers fast, infectious drum beats and pure guitar intensity, while charming you with a playful yet snarling attitude. Casio keyboards, bass, percussion, Flex-A-Tone, thumb piano, and a TV inject a sense of late-night delirium into the cunning electro sound. At a time in music history when rock is packaged and marketed to people based on their need to feel acceptance within a particular demographic, Good For You is proud to stand up and say "We don't fit in... and neither do you!" And say it, they do, by rocking you to the point of delirium. On the album, you will find get-up-and-dance punk rock songs that lift the finger at suffering over failed relationships ("5 Bucks", "Wonder", "Wait for me Somewhere", "Problems"), a few upbeat pop numbers about generally disliking the world ("Conversation Populare", "Living in the World is Such a Farce"), and some totally strange instrumental sonic blasts ("Stunt Choir", "Acid Reflux Dream").
