That superlative "youthman" tenor bounced about the 1980s dancehall like a rastaman's chant echoing through Jamaica's emerald-green hills. But by the decade's end, Half Pint was no longer a constant turntable presence. Re-teamed here with Kingston's finest producers--Steely & Clevie, Willie Lindo, and "riddim twins" Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare--Half Pint resurfaces in fine stylee, his urgent vocals soaring over bouncy, "one-drop" instrumentations and carving out signature melodic changes and extended flourishes that fans expect.
