Herb Heinz has set out to fail, which creates a terrible dilemma in that if he does fail he will indeed succeed at failing, meaning he will not have failed. If he succeeds, he will also not have failed, having in fact failed at failing. So no matter the outcome, he's basically screwed because he failed, except that because he has failed he is thereby successful.

The manifestation of this paradox can be heard on Failure - a neurotic journey through the mind of a troubled artist. Combining dark vocal melodies, perplexing lyrics, synthesized backdrops, abrupt shifting textures, strange sounds, and psychotic guitar, Failure challenges, surprises, and confounds listeners while providing plenty of hooks, just in case. These quirky electropop are somehow both humorous and haunting at the same time.
