Review
High Contrast exploded onto the electronic music scene in 2002 with his debut "True Colors", named one of the top ten albums of the year by URB, BPM, XLR8R, Remix, Lotus, Mixer, Rinse, Knowledge (UK), and ATM (UK). Several British publications also cited it as one of the top 100 electronic albums of all time. Not bad for a 21-year old unknown from Wales. "High Society" does more than avoid the sophomore slump by setting a new benchmark of excellence for drum and bass and for electronic music at large. Four tracks feature some of the biggest vocal talents in UK hip-hop and r&b alongside the best crossover drum and bass tunes since Reprazent and Goldie.
