The Norway based JR Ewing unleashes a full attack on angular guitars and relentless riffs reminiscent of Drive Like Jehu, The Hot Snakes, At The Drive-In, and Refused. With tightly wound guitars and a thrashy intensity, "Maelstrom" serves to sweep the dust out and revitalize the stale hardcore genre. Fresh off the road from a European tour with Coheed And Cambria, the band plans to tour throughout the year, bringing their explosive and inspiring show stateside.
