Jack Knife brings something to hip hop that has never been heard, innovation. His debut is so impressive that he is slowly getting a big name for himself. Jack is only 17 years old and wrote, performed, recorded, mixed, and mastered the entire CD himself. He is also responsible for half of the beats on the LP. The style on this CD is matched by nobody else. He has everything and anything you could possibly think of on here, but stays consistent, something many musicans cannot do. From emotional gems like "Open Your Eyes" and "One Love" to the radio friendly "Feelin You, and "Who's Jack??" it is hard to lose attention here. Basically, this album does anything but disapoint and is surely an underground classic.
