Review
Currently Impacting Radio Album cover JAK PARISs debut CD, Electric Revolution featuring the single N.B.D. (Not Back Down) and Lead The Way concentrates on high-level musical virtuosity, performance, and energy driven songs. The songs, from harder and heavier takes to more melodic ballads, reflect each of JPs diverse musical influences and backgrounds. The result is a blend of pop and modern rock, ignited by clever lyrics. Its obvious that JP has his influences and is capable of turning in radio rock hits as catchy as anything from Lifehouse, Dashboard Confessional, Oasis or Fuel, but it is only when he starts out tight with passion, lets the song build and then lets loose, that you feel the full power, lyricism, and the sound of JAK PARIS. JP brings a lot of energy to this album and shows a vast array of influences without displaying any of them too overtly. Its clear that JP wants to avoid being categorized, and does it successfully. To put it simply, Electric Revolution is a great Rock album that is finding its way into heavy rotation.
