Review

How does Joachim Witt summarize the theme of Bayreuth 3? "Condemn Hitler." With this album, Witt makes a passionateargument against fascism and strives to regain a sense of German culture and art that was shattered by the Nazi regime. An intellectual heir of the romantics of the early 19th century, Witt is nevertheless masterful at speaking in a modern voice, delivering well-crafted, hard-hitting cutting edge electro-industrial-metal music that sounds more vital than that of most bands half his age. Includes a duet with Tilo Wollf of Lacrimosa and a bonus track for the US version only: a remix by VNV Nation. This album will certainly appeal to fans of bands that Witt has inspired, such as Eisbrecher, Rammstein, Oomph! and Megaherz.
