Review

After almost ten years on the road as founding member of Chapel Hill's Flyin' Mice and WAKE, Jon Shain is releasing his first solo record, Brand New Lifetime. The new album pulls together all of his influences, from the blues he learned playing alongside NC's Big Boy Henry and John D. Holeman, to the bluegrass and roots-rock of his two electric bands. The album contains an hour of music including a live version of Dylan's Meet Me in the Morning.
