Review

"With Golden Age of Radio, singer-songwriter Josh Ritter rips open the face panel of American Folk Rock and gracefully re-wires the circuitry." -iCast.com.

The well from which Golden Age of Radio is drawn holds hints of Nick Drake, Lucinda Williams, The Silver Jews, and the Mother Hips. Ritter's music has been compared to many, but comparisons can't quite measure up to or define what is becoming regarded as one of the greatest new songwriting voices in America. "Golden Age of Radio", Ritter's second album, is as intimate and close-up as a Raymond Carver short story, and as universal and weird as a late night stroll through the AM radio dial.
