Review

JUMPER LACE is a French heavy-metal band that started in 1983 in Bayonne under the name of VIXEN. Selected amongst about a hundred French bands, the combo got the opportunity to take part in the "Hard-Rock Rendez-Vous" sampler. Recorded in the famous Davout studio by Gary LYONS (Michael SCHENKER GROUP, THE ROLLING STONES...), this thousands-selling-album triggered a series of concerts, festivals and prestigious first parts off. Tours took the musicians to Czechoslovakia where they suffered recording "Beyond The Romance" during the Gulf War. This enraged and epileptic opus was well received, then considered as an essential album by the public. Following serious changes of mind and a deep sluggishness of the labels, the split-up happened in 1994, which prevented the release of "The Last Jump"... Nine years later, JUMPER LACE is reborn from its ashes and the long-awaited second album can finally see the light of day on the Brennus label, including no less than seven bonus tracks. Don't miss it !
