The members of this band have collectively been in The Cramps, Gun Club, Nick Cave's Bad Seeds and Sonic Youth. The Knoxville Girls are not even girls. They lay down a raw blend of country/western, soul, rockabilly and blues. They've been described as 'no wave country' and a cross between Charlie Feathers and The Velvets.
