Review

Released in 2001, Unikorn on the Cob is the debut CD from this progressive rock band led by Jonn Buzby. Land of Chocolate's music blends traditional progressive rock with jazz-rock fusion and quirky alternative elements, producing tracks loaded with catchy chromatic melodies, startlingly shifting harmonies, and angular, odd-meter rhythms. Fans of 70s Yes, Genesis, Pat Metheny, and John McLaughlin, as well as fans of 90s Mr Bungle and Faith No More will appreciate this complex yet thoroughly tuneful rock music.
