Winner of the 1999 L.A. Music award in the category of Outstanding Guitarist, opening shows for Bonnie Raitt, and being the only woman asked to audition for the post-Garcia version of the Grateful Dead, Lauren Ellis once again showcases her skills on the new album, "Feels Like Family", recorded in her new hometown of Nashville, Tennessee.
Playing acoustic, electric, National steel, lap and baritone guitars, she brings melodic life to this latest collection of memorable and heartfelt songs. Accompanied this time out by stellar players Viktor Krauss (Lyle Lovett), Kenny Malone (Alison Krauss), Dean Parks (Steely Dan), and Tony Joe White, the album truly Feels Like Family.
