UK pressing of the 1978 album from the Disco Diva, originally released on Curtom. 7 tracks. Charly. 2005.Digitally Remastered Reissue Linda Clifford's Tour De Force Album from 1978, her Second for the Late Curtis Mayfield's Curtom Label. It's Success Made her a Major International Star in the Process and Established her as a Bonafide Disco Star. It was also One of Curtom's Biggest Selling Albums Ever, Hitting the Top 30 in America for 22 Weeks in 1978 and Includes Full-length (Seven Minutes Plus) Versions of Two of her Biggest Us Hit Singles. The Title Track is a Lavish Remake of the Classic Show Tune from "Sweet Charity". This Driving Slab of Orchestrated Disco features Stunning Call and Response with the Jones Girls, who Sang Backup. The Disco Anthem "Runaway Love" is Seen as Regarded by Many as her Best, featuring Latin-tinged Funk with Spoken Dialogue in a Style Popularized by Millie Jackson. Includes Two Bonus Tracks, Both from Clifford's First Curtom Hit Single in 1977, 'you Can Do It' and 'from Now On'.
