Similar to his contributions to the Indelible Grace albums, Matthew Smith's Even When My Heart Is Breaking marks his solo debut. Three traditional hymns ("Jesus, What A Friend," "'Tis So Sweet," and "Be Thou My Vision") are joined by a never-before-recorded hymn ("All I Owe") and a brand-new recording of Smith's "Come Ye Sinners" (originally featured on the first Indelible Grace album). Features contributions from artists such as Derek Webb, Sandra McCracken, Jeremy Casella, and members of Caedmon's Call and Jars of Clay.
