Introducing the debut album from Kristiansand-based Merry November! Racing Junior discovered the band at one of their first concerts during the Norwegian Alarm Awards in 2002. Racing Junior saw the talent in their beautiful music, and sent them into the studio immediately. In fact, directly after the concert, they recorded their first song! Merry November consists of songwriters Andreas and Charlotte Ronja Knudsen. Andreas has, since the mid `90s, been an important part of the Norwegian underground in groups like Ring, 10th Floor Orchestra, Emily Lang, St. Thomas and Magnetic Tapes. I'll Keep You Here is an album of great beauty: fragile vocals, French duets and dream-pop that have been compared to Low, Gram Parsons, Tindersticks, Nick Cave and Einstürzende Neubauten. Between the whispery opening track and the inferno of the ending track, the moods change naturally, taking you away with them…
