A collection of up tempo compositions that are intricately layered with demanding parts for percussion, keyboards and horns. Joining Michael are Jeff Colella (Keyboards), kenny Elliott (drums), Hank Ford & Bob Frankich (sax), Curtis Robertson Jr. (bass) and Jasper Stone & Vince Willis (keyboards). Together these musicians had an amazing chemistry in creating "Heart of Love" - a recording that is full of both energy and subtlety. It is smooth, haunting and intense, a listening experience of delight.
