Moulin Noir has been active on the Swedish synthpop/new wave scene for many years, but this album servse is the perfect introduction to the broader market. "The White Room" serves up a great variety of synthpop styles, ranging from hard-hitting dark synthpop to trance-influenced tracks, to classic new wave/new romantic styles that remind the listener of the 80's pioneers like Gary Numan, Ultravox, etc.
