Review

A new recording in 2001 featuring rock instrumentals by Spain's number one instrumental rock band, Los Relampagos. Never before released in the U.S. Spanish instro rock sounds with guitar, organ, bass, drums instrumentation. Stylistically, similar to the Shadows, Duane Eddy, Johnny & the Hurricanes, Dick Dale, and other '60s instrumental groups, but infused with Spanish melodies and the original sounds of Los Relampagos founders Pablo Herrero and Jose Luis Armenteros. Alternately sophisticated and classically-simple with a '60s ambience.
