Odd Mercy formed out of a need to make public songs of insight and substance. An answer to those who say Rock 'n' Roll is not a forum for social consciousness or commentary. A true alternative to alternative. Odd Mercy plays songs written with the head and from the heart. Also, no excuses no regrets is a philosophy which became an album. It's taking a risk and feeling good about it afterwards. It's putting conventional wisdom to one side and testing the alternative theories. It's the road less traveled. It's the path not taken. It's your instincts or your psyche or your soul, or all three. It's brought me to this country from England and kept me here, despite the doubters, and it's here in the album.
