With a flamboyant twang achieved through a blend of uncalculated southern eavesdropping and California coastal dwelling, Patria Jacobs' new CD, Poison of the Sea, is an eclectic collection of pop, dirgy ballads and country flavored songs.

Former singer/songwriter for pop-rock band, Rubyfish, Patria Jacobs' post-punk roots influence her ambient, pop and country songs. Featuring performances by Stew, Heidi Rodewald (Negro Problem), Probyn Gregory (Wondermints/Brian Wilson), Paul Lacques (I See Hawks in LA), Tina Link (10 cent) and legendary jazz harpist Corky Hale (Liberace, Streisand, Bjork, Air).
