Music that surrounds you and grooves you. Lyrics that take you there, provokes thought, entertainment and love." No words were truer than those. With her sensual track, "Passion Plea," Rhonda speaks to the hearts of former friends that have now become lovers. The new lovers express a fear of losing their previous friendship, but the hope of gaining something more intense. With the Friday night dance beat of the same title, "Friday Night," Rhonda fills us with the sounds of a party and prepares us to groove along with her as she croons, "Gotta go on - A Funk lounge ride - Soul powerful - Head bobbin' grooves, Back beat bass lines makes my body move." With songs like "Breathe New Life," and "Peaceful Blessings," we are encouraged to delve deep within ourselves for growth and serenity. With "Stand and Know," Rhonda charms us with another head bobbin, foot tappin beat, and a reminder of the former house jams of the Paradise Garage club in New York City. Finally, in track 11, "The Matrimony" we are moved into love's pleasure zone and commitment. On this song, Rhonda has a duet with Alex Lattimore, which is reminiscent of the famous Rachelle Ferrell and Will Downing duet of years ago. But Rhonda and Alex create their own signature song with the uniqueness and versatility of their sweet harmony.
