Review

Mi Ofrenda is a beautiful recording that exhibits Ray's compositional style at its finest. With Hecho En Califas using a Piazolla style instrumentation of violin, accordion, guitar, acoustic bass and percussion to Mourning Sunrise's intimate use of cello, acoustic bass and guitar we hear many different aspects of Ray's use of composition and arrangement. Mi Ofrenda departs where A La Naturaleza left off and takes you into a new space filled with emotion.
