The way it should be when pop fans visit the 'old school' sounds of the late 70's power pop scene! Receiver has tuned it in carefully, gathering the right doses of ringing 12 string guitars, 'la-la' vocal harmonies and sticky hooks that bring a well-spring of warm memories into the present day! This is a fine tribute to Scottish pop...meaning you will define clear references to Teenage Fanclub, BMX Bandits and Eugenius in this well-constructed debut...pristine power pop.
