Rita Chiarelli is Canada's Goddess of the Blues, and Breakfast at Midnight showcases her powerful three-octave voice. This CD is a very personal document, highlighting the ups and downs of relationships. If you want a CD with some terrific melodies, some fine writing, one of North America's finest female voices combined with a backup band to kill for (Colin Linden, Richard Bell, Tom Wilson), then Breakfast at Midnight is the CD for you.
