Review
The release of "Something Fierce" marks the first true Rocktopus band collaboration. Whereas Rocktopus' debut CD "I Love You! Good Morning!" (released in June, 2002) was primarily Spencer Albee locked away in a recording studio with a multitude of friends (some of whom made their way into Rocktopus), this CD marks the first time the band has written and recorded together in the same room. Recorded in spurts between August 2002 and January, 2003, the writing on Something Fierce is tighter and more mature and shows a road tested band with over 100 shows in 8 months under its belt.
