2006 reissue of this long-lost 1985 debut album from former Classix Nouveaux vocalist, including five bonus tracks: 'Adoramus Te', 'Just A Feeling', 'How Was I To Know' and the previously unreleased 'Metanoia' and 'Drift Away'. Recorded after the demise of his band (although they are featured on one track) but before he began his career as a religious artist, this is a warm and inspiring album featuring keyboards, acoustic guitars, a choir and great songwriting. Cherry Red.The 1985 Debut Solo Album from the Former Lead Singer of Classix Nouveaux. In 1983, Solo Became Disillusioned with the Record Industry and Moved to San Damiano in Northern Italy. He Had a Life-changing Experience There, Becoming Happier with Himself and Relaxed. He Wrote and Released "San Damiano" which Became a Huge Hit, Not Only in the UK but around the World, Even Making it to Number One in Poland. This was a Very Different Sal Solo to the One the Public Had Seen Only a Couple of Years Prior. "Music and You" Followed in 1985, with the London Community Gospel Choir to Back Him. He Appeared on Many British Sunday Evening Television Programmes Including the Rock Gospel Show. It was Sal's Manager, Falcon Stuart, who Later Said: "Sal is One of Those Rare Artistes who is Prepared to Stand Up and Be Counted Both Musically and Morally."
