Review

American Brass Band Music from the later nineteenth century, featuring marches, polkas, variations and opera medolies. It was recorded at Shakertown Village in KY and all the instruments performed on are original antiques. They include: Quinby Bros. e-flat soprano cornet c. 1870, e-flat soprano cornet c. 1865, E.G. Wright e-flat soprano cornet c. 1863, Hall and Quinby b-flat cornet with bit c. 1865, Isaac Fiske e-flat alto horn c. 1858, Reproduction e-flat alto horn c. 1980, C. Zoebisch & Son b-flat tenor horn c. 1859, Boston Musical Instrument Co. b-flat tenor horn c. 1869, Graves b-flat baritone c. 1860, Hall and Quinby B-flat bass upright c. 1864, M. Slater e-flat tuba upright c. 1864, Rope Tension Bass drum, Rope Tension Snare Drum, Antique Brass Cymbals.
