Review

Hey, Harmony is St Thomas' second album for City Slang Records. It's a tremendous leap forward from his debut for the label (actually his second album), I'm Coming Home, which offered a welcome glimpse of an unusual talent that was developing fast, despite its lo-fi approach. Produced by Mark Nevers, Lambchop's architect of ghostly sonics as well as their producer (and producer of Will Oldham's latest), it is a far more polished collection of songs, but one which maintains the integrity & endearing qualities of Hansen's tics & peculiarities. 12 tracks. Copy Controlled. 2003.
