Review

A collection of richly textured ambient space music in the vein of Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream and Steve Roach. It is sometimes relaxing, sometimes moody, but always enjoyably fresh and experimental.

Tacit Blue is dedicated to the exploration of space - in all of its forms. We support the work of NASA and astronomers worldwide in their exploration of the infinite space outside of that the Earth occupies.

Sonically, we explore that same space, as well as all the myriad spaces found on the Earth itself. Every physical space, every room, has a distinct sound all its own. The shape of the space, the materials from which it is constructed, its size, reception of outside noises, etc. all work together to create a distinct ambience.

Head space works in a very similar way. Mood is affected by the day's events, how a person is greeted by others, positive or negative encounters, memories, beliefs, smells, tastes, sounds, etc. All these factors work together to create a distinct mental ambience.

These are the spaces and ambiences Tacit Blue is interested in exploring. It is our mission, our journey. We hope you will come with us and enjoy the ride as we explore an idea that is infinitely definable: space.
