2006 reissue of this 1988 album featuring nine bonus tracks including all the B-sides, two of them making their CD debut here! Darling Buds were part of the British indie scene in the late 80's and were often compared to The Primitives (another band fronted by an attractive blonde). 21 tracks total including 'Hit The Ground', 'Burst', 'She's Not Crying' and more. Fantastic stuff. Cherry Red.Blonde Female Lead Singers [along with the Primitives and Transvision Vamp] Originally from South Wales, the Band Released One Self Financed Single and were Picked Up by Indie Label Native. After Two Further Singles They were Signed by Sony Imprint Epic and in the January 1989 Released their Debut Long-player `pop Said' which Reached No 23 in the National Album Charts. The Album Includes the Four Hit Singles `let's Go Round There', `burst', `hit the Ground' and `you've Got to Choose'.
