In 2001, Tim Booth unexpectedly walked away from his former band James, shortly after selling over 1-million copies of a greatest hits album and landing the theme song to the film "American Pie" with "Laid." It takes a brave man to know when to call it quits in this business. It takes a braver man to start again. Is it any wonder Booth's solo debut radiates confidence, from the topless photo of his significant other on the cover to "Redneck," a song slamming old friends who lost his number after he lost his fan base. 'Bone is loose and fun, slapping Mediterranean rhythms and electronic burps over the songwriter's trademark arena melodies while delivering at least one or two new songs that will surely find a place on his next 'Best Of' collection. --Aidin Vaziri
