We are happy to announce that TagTuner 1.8 is now available! The direct download link can be found here: http://www.tagtuner.com/download/TagTuner%20Setup%201.8.exe

The changes between TagTuner version 1.7 and 1.8 consist of the following new features and bug fixes:

  • Added Tags from Name feature. Now you can extract and compose tags from file and folder names. To learn more and discover the expanded syntax possibilities of this feature, please read the online-help article: Extracting tags from file name
  • Added the tag case control. You can reach this function by going to Edit | Change Tags Case, or by pressing the appropriate toolbar button.
  • Windows Explorer context menu extension. In order to reach TagTuner faster you can add it to the Windows Explorer context menu.
  • There were also some bug fixes and performance improvements.

Now we have a new champion in suggesting features - Marvin Beasley! He has very clearly described the features he wanted to have. It let us improve TagTuner in a very short period of time and we are truly grateful for that. So we'll be happy to hear out Your suggestions too.

We recommend upgrading your TagTuner copy. Upgrades are free for the registered users.
