Come To California… Come experience the music of Ben Chew on his new CD release. For his debut CD, Ben has brought together the styles of classic rock, folk, country, and psychedelic music, to create a unique sound of his own. There are many influences evident on this CD, but the strongest of these is suggested by the album's title. Ben explains: "I was always drawn to the bands that came out of Los Angeles and San Francisco in the 60's. My compositions reflect the freedom and experimentation of those days." Ben's knack for fresh melodies, multi-part harmonies, and his sophisticated approach to songwriting have helped these new songs to transcend their influences to create a resonant style which stays in your head.
