Review

"Otherwise" is a tasty mix of folk, blues and old school country. Einweck's singing style is straightforward and lean, with emphasis on delivering the message of the song.

The crystal clear arrangements feature acoustic guitars, bass and percussion, accented by electric guitar, mandolin, harmonica and background vocals.

Many of the songs on "Otherwise" have a literary bent in terms of charachters, foreshadowing and irony. Poetic and understated, Einweck also wraps the narrative in unforgettabe hooks that sometimes encourage the listener to sing along on first listen.
