Review
Brandon Sandefur and his band RoughCut play classic traditional country music with a contemporary and sometimes rock influenced style. The guitar playing is biting and dramatic, the vocals pure country and the sound is given an extra twist with the heavy use of harmonica throughout. From hard driving country rock to old time shuffle and honky tonk to lush ballads this album has something for anyone who loves contemporary country but yearns for the guts and integrity of the past.
