Originally released in 2002 on Grandaddys owned and operated Sweat OF The Alps Music Products, Hopalong fast garnered a cult following. With this years release of Autumnland that features two songs form the upcoming film Ellie Parker featuring Naomi Watts, Chevy Chase and Keanue Reveas, Built Like Alaska is sure to gain many new fans. The isolation of the Central Valley has provided Built Like Alaska (Neil Jackson-vocals/guitar, Matt Candelario-bass, David Burtch-drums, Susane Reis-keyboards/vocals, Sean Norman- guitars) with the physical and mental space to develop into a creative force.
