Review

The second album from Cliff Art explores new territory for the instrumental group. While the core duo of Chapman Stick(TM) and Appalachian lap dulcimer or 8-string acoustic bass guitar remains, the addition of drums and percussion on several tracks brings out sides of Cliff Art's music that were not evident in their earlier recording and performances. The new album continues to defy easy classification, taking the listener on a journey near the lands of jazz, new age, and rock, to name a few.
