Review

Produced by Wharton Tiers at Fun City Studios, NYC, Curse's self-titled debut album contains 10 originals, plus a radio edit of "Starfall."

Of special note is "Graveyard Shuffle," a silly/campy "gothabilly" song about hanging out in a graveyard, and the various forms of mischief one might get up to while there. Noted jazz composer/musician David Amram laid down an amazing New Orleans-style piano part and a pennywhistle solo that will send chills up your spine. Guitar guru Marc Ribot also played on "Graveyard," which, if you are a fan of his work on Tom Waits' recordings, you will NOT want to miss.

Complete lyrics for all songs included.
