Carrying on the Radio Disney tradition of remaking contemporary hits for preteen consumption is DJ Kid's Hitz 4 Kidz, which features a similar lineup to the Kidz Bop compilations and Pop 4 Kids: Get This Party Started . Whether hip-hop or pop, these songs are sung by both adult and child vocalists, giving the collection a karaoke feel. Don't look for "Old MacDonald" (or his farm) here: this "I'm not that innocent" CD evokes forbidden parties, bars, cars, and lost love with tracks such as Christina Milian's "AM to PM," Aaron Carter's "Aaron's Party (Come and Get It"), Avril Lavigne's "Complicated," Britney Spears's "Oops...
